Really impressed, followed the instructions for dosage and running the pumps and when drained the tub was squeaky clean. On refilling, the fresh water was crystal clear, cleaner in fact than when we first filled it.

What temperature should the water be when you run the system flush? Is 30 degrees considered warm enough for should I heat it up even more?
Cold water can be used but warm water would be more effective. 30 degrees is warm enough.

Simply fill with water to the top of the jets add 2.5l of solution and run for 15 to 30 minutes and then drain your swim spa.

Hi Sorry I don’t think I have been putting in enough flush, 1800L hot tub and 500ml of flush, am I right in thinking this should be 3L of flush
Please fill with water to the top of the jets add 1L of solution to your Hot Tub and run for 15 to 30 minutes.

Please follow the instruction label and add 500ml product with 300L water, 1L product with 600L water. The Jets will need to be covered and run for 15 to 30 minutes. This is used to clean the pipework on your Hot Tub.

The Jets are usually not on the portable hot tubs. Please just run your system as per label instructions.
When emptying the water from tub after using this product can it just go onto grass or down the drain? Does the waste water need to be disposed of in any particular way?
It is usually down the drain but it can be emptied onto grass after the treatment is completed.
Is this product harmful to the environment (or toxic to aquatic life)? I don’t have mains drainage and I live by a river, so I’m looking for a flush that would be safe.

After using flush for 15/30min i have drained my hottub. After filling back up and turning jets on i can still smell flush and see some scum appearing ontop of the water is this safe to get in or do I have to drain again?
Please just skim off the scum. Then it is ready to use.

We have a home jacuzzi that has black mould in the plastic piping. Would any of your products be suitable to use to flush through the system to help clear the mould?

Hi - I know similar questions have been asked on this but I feel the responses have been vague enough to be open to interpretation - so to lay it out clearly, once used and the hot tub is drained do you need to fill it up with clean, run it then drain it to flush the pipes out or can a rinse of the shell with a hose and cloth to wipe up be sufficient? Just saying rinse it could be taken to mean either way
We would recommend draining the water completely after flushing. Either option could be used, but more water would be required for the second option.

My research on line suggest to leave a system flush cleaner in the hot tub for upto 12hours. Your product says 15-30mins - is there any harm done if i leave it in the hot tub longer?
I would advise to use it for 15 - 30 mins with the jets and if you would like to leave it in for 12 hours turn off the jets.

What’s the difference between this product and the ‘hot tub spa and whirlpool cleaner’ I have both products. Why would I use one over the other?
SYstem Flush is more for flushing through pipework, whereas Hot Tub, Spa and Whirlpool Cleaner is more for deep cleaning inside whirlpool systems, jets etc.
I want to replace the "old" water in my hot tub, and clean it with System Flush before refilling. Hi just to summarise, If the hot tub is to be packed away for winter and currently has "used" water in there with chlorine and other lazy spa chemicals. Before draining the old water , could i add Pro Kleen Flush for 15 mins. Then drain the water and rinse the empty tub with fresh water and dry the tub and pack it up? Also doing so will I still need the Pro Kleen Surface cleaner aswell? Or is the flush doing the same? Thank you
Yes, you could flush the tub then drain and pack it up. The surface cleaner is more for your hot tub shell, whereas the flush is more for cleaning out the inner workings of your tub.

This contains a bactericide agent for sterilisation but has not been tested against legionella.

Hi - I’m running pro Pro Kleen system flush through now with jet open and operating on full power - I’m confused with the pack instructions which says close the air controls?? But all online demos have the jet open and on full - could u advise pls

Hi. I have a Canadian Spa Swift Current V2, which doesn't have an option to close off the air to the jets (just 3 "speed" settings). Also the pump can only do one thing at a time, i.e. filter or jets. Could you advise how to use this product on this tub please? I want to make sure the jet pipes get cleaned as well as filtration pipes/plumbing etc. Thanks
